According to the government's policy to develop Thailand to be an international health center (Medical Hub) of the region, health care of the population is one of the government's top priorities to promote the quality of life of the population. Therefore, Thailand has established many new health centers and hospitals which is likely to increase in the future. To support the health care activities which tends to increase continuously, the existing and new hospitals need to be certified in the following areas to meet international quality standards such as medical care, medical equipment, hospital ward, energy usage, security, and environment and waste management. It can be seen that the nature of the above-mentioned works require workforce with specialized medical and engineering knowledge.
